In case you missed it… CoolTone™ is HERE at Yuva! CoolTone™ is the newest innovation from Allergan in body
contouring and, understandably, the biggest question we’ve been getting from our patients is:
What’s the difference between CoolSculpting® and CoolTone™?
Curious about non-invasive, non-surgical body contouring with CoolSculpting® or CoolTone™? Read on!
Whether or not you decide to receive CoolSculpting® or CoolTone™ treatments will depend on your body contouring goals, current fat distribution and/or muscle tone, and other factors. For some patients, fat reduction is the primary goal. For others, they want to take their fitness further and see more defined muscle tone. And, of course, there are many patients who want both fat reduction and increased muscle tone. Here’s how each treatment works differently to support your body contouring goals:
CoolSculpting®
CoolSculpting® is a non-invasive treatment for permanently reducing the number of fat cells in a given area. In short, fat cells are frozen and then die off and are naturally processed out of the body. This treatment is helpful for reducing fat in stubborn areas like the abdomen, inner and outer thighs, upper arms, and under the chin.
In one sentence: CoolSculpting is for fat reduction.
(Note: While CoolSculpting is used for the reduction of fat in stubborn areas, it is NOT a weight loss treatment.)
CoolTone™
CoolTone™, also non-invasive, is an innovative treatment for strengthening and toning muscles via Magnetic Muscle Stimulation (MMS) that causes involuntary contractions that resemble a hard workout. The body responds to these contractions and strengthens the muscle fibers underneath the targeted area of treatment resulting in stronger, firmer, and more defined muscle tone.
In one sentence: CoolTone is for toning and strengthening muscles.
Think:
CoolSculpting® = Sculpting Fat Away
CoolTone™ = Toning Muscles
Which one should you choose? Again, that’s up to your goals! If you’re looking for fat reduction/removal, CoolSculpting® may be a great fit for you. Looking for better muscle definition? Check out CoolTone™.
